Yellow Angel / Yellow Devil
These two plants share the same genus, however one heals whilst the other hurts. That is to say that both look incredibly similar, both yellow five petaled flowers that grow in the Scarrus Peaks, each less than a foot in height and both with green heart shaped leaves. However, Yellow Devil sports pointed ends on its flower’s petals, whilst Yellow Angel has rounded petals. This small distinction is all that separates poison from cure.
Yellow Angel is a potent healing ingredient, used by many native groups in potions of healing and cures to various ailments. The petals themselves when eaten can restore 1 hit point without further effort.
Yellow Devil is a potent poison, particularly known to give a state similar to acute food poisoning, and in extreme cases internal bleeding of the stomach. This too is used to make poisons by the Jakarak of the Primal Forests who coat their weapons to take down trespassers and animals alike. Eating petals of the Yellow Devil will deal 1 hit point of damage without further effort.
