The Orcs are fierce warmongers, barbaric in their reputation and strongly autocratic in their governance. United under the banner of their High Ruler, they have conquered the Obsidian Fells and established themselves as its dominant inhabitants, both before and after the Great Divide.

Orcish Traits

All Orcs share a few common traits.

Stat Increase: Your Constitution stat increases by 5 points, and your Endurance stat increases by 3 points.

Life: Most Orcs typically reach adulthood at the age of 16, and live to see around 180 years.

Nature: A relatively no-nonsense race, Orcs are known for being rather blunt as they try to live a good life through reason and creative approach to problem solving. They’re more sophisticated than most of the rest of the world would have you believe, but they won’t deny their warmongering nature if push comes to shove.

Size: Orcs average between 180 and 215cm tall and weigh approximately 180kg. Your size is medium.

Movement: Your base movement speed is 10 metres.

Iron Hide: You have a natural resistance to magical damage imbued in your skin, giving you a passive +2 to Ward that does not deteriorate with the optional durability rule.

Unfazed: You’re used to being in intense and large scale battles, being outnumbered is not something foreign to you and you are able to control your courage much better than most because of it. As such, the outnumbered combat condition only triggers when you have 4 or more hostile entities in melee range of you instead of the standard 3.

Dominion: You possess an inherent authority over Jezzawick, giving you advantage on Dialogue checks made in conversation with them.

Languages: You can speak Common, and broken aspects of old Orcish.
