Jezzawick

Small, shrewd and often underestimated, these creatures are defined by their nimble forms, cunning minds and a knack for chaos. They thrive in groups and love making mischief, delighting in all things chaotic and unpredictable.

Balanced Origins

After the druidic “veil” was spun over the Valley of the Unseen by it’s malicious proverbial Gods, the Gor’reg Trolls - nature needed a way to balance itself out and created the antithesis to Teppywigs which eventually became Jezzawicks by virtue of evolution. The innocence and merriment of Teppywigs was gathered, their essence turned to magical properties by their Troll overlords and eventual excess of such exuberant energies boiled down to the truly vile and perverse, splitting the evolutionary trail and as a result the two species share a common ancestor before becoming what each are.

Chaotic & Wild

Their personalities tend to be as sharp as their teeth; quick witted, mischievous and fiercely territorial with some degree of greed being a building block of many Jezzawick traits. Despite their small stature, they are rarely cowed by larger foes. Instead, they use speed, deception, and sheer numbers to overwhelm or outsmart opponents. They're also deeply social creatures, though their bonds are often fragile and built on shared goals or mutual benefits rather than affection or loyalty.

Unlucky Charms

Jezzawick are beings that embody the inverse of whimsy and blissful benevolence. They’re opposites of a more familiar, glittering force of magic that makes Teppywigs so lovable and kind. They have a fondness for bad luck, feeding on disorder and disharmony, spreading trouble and inconveniences wherever they go. Their looks mirror this darker aesthetic. Typically they sport darker and muted shades and have some sharpness to their appearance.

Acts of Mischief

These creatures operate by twisting the concept of “help” into subtle curses, intentionally or inadvertently causing little or a lot of chaos. They live in a space that mirrors the lighthearted world of their kindred counterparts, yet everything in their home reflects a sombre or twisted twist on that reality. They’re known to act with a strict purpose: if there’s fun to be spoiled or plans to be disrupted, they’re the first on the scene.

Professionally Annoying

Any creation that isn’t theirs quickly becomes a target. Because of this, they often go unseen, leaving only the effects of their presence: inexplicable mechanical failures, lights flickering, and strange noises, wreaking havoc on machinery, devices, and anything that requires precision. They’re notorious for their uncanny ability to sniff out where things are running smoothly and to immediately make them go haywire. They delight in dismantling, tinkering, and sabotaging any mechanism they come across. Driven by a sense of humour that delights in frustration and inconvenience, it is important to note that they are not necessarily evil or malicious and each individual still has unique personalities and moral compasses.
