Druids of Colabria
You can feel her heart too, can’t you? See the wonder of life on her back? We have to try to fix the damage done to her by those who don’t understand. Not everyone is up to the task, not everyone believes it’s even possible. I’m glad to see that you stand with us regardless.
Starting Stat: Willpower +4
Starting Feature: Natural Attunement: All things flow on paths easily traced with natural magic, lines to be followed and understood by you, as such any check you make to identify natural magic finds slight failures counting as slight successes instead. But the rest of the Dreamweave eludes you, slipping from your grasp making it hard to identify and learn, having the opposite effect.
Subclass Overview
The four types of Druid are based on their circles within our world’s story. More information can be found on this page. They are as follows:
Azra - Blood runs through your veins in tandem with that of Sesmi’s. Each beat of her heart resonates in yours and in this harmony you find your power, Azra. Use that power to heal the damaged world, lest it be lost for good.
Culus - There is much to see beyond that allowed by the eye’s sight, flowing on connected waves throughout the world. You see Sesmi’s dreams, Culus, don’t take that burden lightly, or they might well become nightmares.
Vetara - Carelessness and cruelty have scarred the very earth on which you walk. Your ancestral home destroyed and your people scattered, you will carry the wrath of Sesmi in your every move, Vetara. Make them know what it means to reap what they sow.
Kuraf - When something is forgotten, it is often doomed to be repeated. Some make it an objective to keep Sesmi’s truth buried, but you, dear Kuraf, are devoted to making sure that doesn’t happen. The world will always remember so long as you do.

Being a Druid in Colabria
In the Colabrian System, your class is also your character’s origin. That is to say it shapes what your character was before they met the party or began their great adventure. We encourage you to colaborate with you GM to figure out what exactly being a Druid did to your characters backstory and how it shaped them into who they are in Session Zero of your game. Druids are generally born into a Druidic Circle, though there are a few rare examples of people becoming Druids after a life-changing event but it takes these people decades to gain the true trust of the Wildheart Concord. The Circle you are in defines the kind of abilities and attitude you might have towards others, the Vetara being the more aggressive and un-trusting, the Azra being the more attentive and kind. Of course there are outliars in every group though so don’t let it hold back your awesome character ideas! There is one thing that pretty much all Druids have in common though, and that is a hatred of the Divines Artar, Adita and Flux - Due to their involvement in the Great Dividing that scarred Sesmi’s back. We recomend that you have a conversation with your GM to decide what exactly made your character leave their Circle and enter the wider world to meet their new party before you begin your game!
If you’re stuck for ideas or just want a nudge, here are a few ideas to help get those creative juices flowing!
1 - Your Circle Leader has deemed you worthy of a mission that has taken you out of your sheltered life in your Tempio into the wider world.
2 - You feel like you’re ready for a mission to help Sesmi and want nothing more than to get the honour of taking on such a task, but your Circle Leader thinks otherwise. So you snuck out on your own to prove them wrong.
3 - Something has always been tugging at the back of your mind, wanting to know what else is out there outside of the Concord. Your trainer believed that it would be good for you to take a pilgramage to each of the Tempios across Sesmi thus seeing cities and people on the way to satiate your thirst for adventure.

Starting Stat: Temperament +2
Starting Trait: Earthbound: The blood of the earth pulses through your veins, giving you natural resistance to the elements. As such, adverse climates have little to no effect on your physical state. If conditions are being altered in an unnatural way, this trait does not prevent negative afflictions.

Because of your close bond with Sesmi’s Heart, you have some knowledge of plants within your Tampio’s region, the Reudos Kridi. As such you know which plants native to that region have good properties and which have bad properties (though you don’t know the details). -
Healing Hands
Whenever you use a healing spell, it does an additional 1d4 healing on top of the base. This goes up to 1d6 at 5th level, 1d8 at 7th level, and 1d10 at 9th level. -
Heart of the World
Your innate connection to Sesmi allows you to temporarily give a chosen target standing on natural ground healing over time. It heals the target 1d4 per minute for 5 minutes so long as they remain in contact with natural ground. You can use this skill twice per day. The amount healed goes up to 1d6 per minute at 7th level, and 1d8 per minute at 9th level. -
Wound Sense
You gain the ability to sense the direction of wounded living creatures and humanoids within 25 metres of you. This ability works through walls and other solid surfaces. At 9th level, this trait also allows you to know the creature type / race. -
Cocoon Weaver
You gain the ability to weave a cocoon around a target creature that grants them immunity to movement impairing effects and makes them 5% harder to hit. You can use this ability twice a day, and it lasts 10 minutes.
Casting Gemstones
Druids gain powers of Manifestation through Sesmi’s dreams rather than their own, using carefully harvested gemstones that grow in various places acoss her back. Some are much rarer than others, but each Circle has their own Gemstone that is more common to their Tempio that every member of that Circle gets when they are seen as being ready. Azra have:
Ribsprout: Named for the large protrusions in which the stone is mined and their colours. With the spires proximity to Seismi's heart they are believed to be spikes of her ribs poking through the earth of her skin. Ribsprout stones are primarily creamy in colour with vein-like inclusions and layers in varying shades of bright pulsing blues.

Starting Trait: Primordial Dreams: At night, glimpses of Sesmi’s dreams flash through your mind, giving you insights and visions of unnatural happenings across the world through the eyes of her dream spirits.

Once per day you can connect to the ground around you to sense things affecting nature within 5 miles of you as well as their direction. It gives you brief glimpses of visions of all violent acts against nature in the radius. E.g trees being cut down, fires being started in woodland areas, pickaxes hitting rock -
Soothing Sight
As the eyes of Sesmi, you can tap into your natural gift to sooth Sesmi’s surface, making it easier to find paths and tracks. This makes Awareness checks made to identify pathways and to track creatures in natural environments easier to succeed. As such, slight failures are now counted as slight successes instead. -
Primal Pacifist
Creatures see you as non-threatening, possibly even friendly, meaning that they do not attack you unless you actively hurt or threaten them. -
Empathic Link
Your connection with visions grants you a certain degree of foresight towards any danger targeting you. As such, whenever a creature or humanoid within 10 metres of you intends you harm, you can feel it (e.g. hairs stand on end, mild headache, muscles tense). -

Some are much rarer than others, but each Circle has their own Gemstone that is more common to their Tempio that every member of that Circle gets when they are seen as being ready. Azra have:
Dream Quartz: Found near what the druids believe to be Sesmi’s mind, this cloudy stone seems to spark and flicker with red fragments of Sesmi’s dreams if you look close enough. This stone has a strong connection to dreams and allows the user some level of sight and control over the dreams and memories of others.
Vetara Druids
Carelessness and cruelty have scarred the very earth on which you walk. Your ancestral home destroyed and your people scattered, you will carry the wrath of Sesmi in your every move, Vetara. Make them know what it means to reap what they sow.
Starting Stat: Endurance +2
Starting Trait: Perfect Unison: Adrenaline courses through you at a near constant rate, your body a perfect specimen of rage and anger with the physicality to match. Mind and body as one, you deal an additional 1d4 damage with any melee physical attacks made with weapons made of natural materials, or with unarmed attacks.

You gain advantage on any grapple based checks due to immense training and physical conditioning. -
Primal Fury
Once per day, you can channel forth Sesmi’s rage for 3 turns, making any attacks you make deal an additional 1d4 damage. This changes to 1d6 damage at 5th level, 1d8 at 7th level, and 1d10 at 9th level. -
Scortched Constitution
Due to the dangerous heat of the desert that your group calls home, your bodies have formed a natural resistance to fire and heat. As such, take only half damage from any fire damage, and passing checks against penalties in hot climates is 10% easier. -
Martial Prowess
Dedicated training has allowed you to push yourself beyond normal limits, and thus you are able to make two unarmed attacks per minor action instead of one, provided you have a free hand. -

Obsidian: Named for the jagged mountainous area where the stone is mined, this stone is often cut to points to emphisise the dangerous side of the earth. Obsidian stones are a deep black and shiney stone that is often known to be a sharp counter to the scortching desert light near where it’s found.
Kuraf Druids
When something is forgotten, it is often doomed to be repeated. Some make it an objective to keep Sesmi’s truth buried, but you, dear Kuraf, are devoted to making sure that doesn’t happen. The world will always remember so long as you do.
Starting Stat: Insight +2
Starting Trait: Perfect Recollection: Events of the past burn themselves into your memory, never to let you forget them like so many others have. As such you have near perfect recollection of historical facts that you have read up on or come across in your past. Curses relating to memory can still affect you though.

Verbolaite: The remnants of fossilized brain coral entrapped in layers of green sandstone, they are believed to offer wisdom from their resemblance to the ridges of the mind and their long slumber tucked in the layers of Sesmi's dreams, there they learned many things that can be taught once found and channeled by the druids.
