This table mushroom is hot to the touch, sending off warm heatwaves around them in the otherwise cold air of The Primal Forests. They are golden brown with orange flecks that give off a faint orange glow, almost as if their warmth comes from a fire within. They keep giving off heat for a period of time after they are picked until they “die out”, the length of time varying depending on their size. They only grow relatively high in trees which make them difficult to pick, though they are incredibly useful. You can often find local animals basking in their warmth or picking them to heat their nests. Although useful for warmth in the cold climate, they have a noticeable bitter taste which many find unappealing, making them used only very rarely in cooking or potions.
